Dragon Quest VII was the first of the series for the Sony
Playstation. This 2CD game was delayed for many years, but was finally finished and
is now Enix America's newest addition to the Dragon Warrior series.
In the first nine days of its release, 2,924,351 copies of Dragon Quest VII were sold in Japan. No other RPG has sold so much so fast in Japan. Dragon Quest VII has sold over 4 million copies in Japan, outselling any other game released for Playstation.
